This January, all ages are welcome to join Benny the Bean for our 2026 Winter Reading Challenge!  Sign up on our website or use the Beanstack app to track your reading progress between January 1st and February 28th.

Think “painting meets musical chairs.” Everyone begins with their own artwork, but when the timer goes off, you swap canvases and keep adding to someone else’s creation. It’s unpredictable, creative, and a lot of fun!

Join us for a fun, festive family event celebrating Mardi Gras!  We will decorate shoebox floats, make Mardi Gras beads, sample some tasty treats and as they say in Louisiana, “laissez les bon temps rouler!”

Have you ever tried to grow your own plants from seed, but had limited success? Join us to learn some easy techniques and secrets to growing your own flowers, vegetables and favorite plants from seed at home.

Readers who complete the Winter Reading Challenge are invited to celebrate their accomplishment at a cozy and fun Finale celebration! Enjoy seasonal activities, treats, and a chance to relax and celebrate a job well done.
