This January, all ages are welcome to join Benny the Bean for our 2026 Winter Reading Challenge!  Sign up on our website or use the Beanstack app to track your reading progress between January 1st and February 28th.

Have you ever tried to grow your own plants from seed, but had limited success? Join us to learn some easy techniques and secrets to growing your own flowers, vegetables and favorite plants from seed at home.

In this session, kids will design and decorate items like bracelets, keychains, zipper pulls, and backpack charms using beads, cord, and other fun materials.

“Read-to-Me” and “Kids” Winter Reading Challenge participants who completed the challenge are invited to join us for a special Winter Reading Finale Book Celebration!

Presented by the Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District:  Learn how to manage stormwater issues on your property with eco-friendly solutions such as rain gardens, native plant habitats, permeable pavement, living shorelines, and more.
