Ages 16-23 months with caregiver/parent. A program for toddlers to gain some motor skills while having fun! In this program we will introduce your little ones to various musical instruments and let them play and dance along with music! This will be a great way to develop gross and fine motor skills and tune musical ears. 

Ages 2-3 years with caregiver/parent. We will share play and read books, nursery rhymes, & songs to enhance early literacy and motor skills.

Join us for early learning fun with a focus on STEAM elements as we explore picture books and create hands-on book-based art, science, and math activities for your preschooler. Separate registration is required for each date. 

The Poquoson Lions Club will provide free vision screenings at the library for ages 6 months to 6 years old. The screening is useful in detecting vision issues for young children so that it does not impede their early learning abilities. The screening device is able to detect risk factors for amblyopia, refractive errors that need corrective lenses, and unequal vision. 

Calling all builders in grades K-5! Jon us for a time filled with imagination as we design and build our very own creepy castles out of LEGOs! Will your castle have hidden passageways, a dark dungeon, or maybe even a dragon’s lair? 

Join us at the library for an evening of creativity, teamwork, and spooky fun. All creations will be proudly displayed for everyone to see!

Calling all 6th-12th graders! The Teen Advisory Board needs you to share your ideas and abilities to make our library and the community a better place. Have fun and use your talents to make a difference as you add terrific community service experience to your resume.
