We do not process renewals. Visit Renewing a Passport on the State Department website for instructions. If you need a photo for your upcoming renewal, please call 757-868-3060 for availability instead of booking a full appointment.

 

 

If the applicant is a child under the age of 16:

  • Both parents or guardians must approve that State Department can issue a passport to a child and go with the child to apply in person.
  • If one or both parents or guardians cannot apply with their child, you will need to show us more documents.
    • please visit the State Department Website for more information: Apply for a Child's U.S. Passport
      • Go to grey tab #5 Show More Documents (if both parents or guardians cannot apply)
  • You cannot renew your child's passport using Form DS-82.
  • Passports for children under age 16 are only valid for 5 years.
